Kuusamo Log Houses has signed a contract to deliver a log framework comprising over 2,000 square meters of floor area.

Kuusamo Log Houses has signed a contract to deliver a log framework comprising over 2,000 square meters of floor area.

Kuusamo Log Houses has signed a contract with Tunturirakennus Oy to deliver a log framework for a log-structure apartment building.

The log apartment building will be located in downtown Kuusamo. The developer is Kuusamon Vuokratalot Oy, and the contractor is Tunturirakennus Oy. When ready, the building will be used as an apartment building for assisted living for the elderly.

The first floor of the log apartment building will be built with concrete, and the three living floors with logs. The picture shows a visualisation by Saatsi Arkkitehdit with a view from Kitkantie road.

As a local supplier, this will be an amazing calling card for us, as the building will be located in the middle of Kuusamo and next to a major route, rejoices Chief Business Officer Antti Hokkinen.

The project is scheduled to be finished in August 2024.
